Tulip Bloom In Spring 2025
The tulips at Crystal Hermitage in Nevada City were nothing short of a living canvas last week—somewhere between an Impressionist painting and glowing Chihuly glass. I spent a short part of the afternoon photographing, letting the sunlight guide my lens, capturing colors and moods from every angle I could find. The purples were so rich they seemed spun from twilight, the pinks soft as sighs, and the palest blushes drifted delicately toward white at the edges. These images are my favorites.
