Northern Nevada Autumn Tree Views
At the peak of autumn in Reno, Nevada, our area’s landscape transforms into a brilliant mosaic of gold, crimson, and amber. Shooting fall trees during this fleeting season with both drone and ground-based photography captures the full range of its beauty. Soaring airplane aerials reveal wider views across Carson City, NV. The sweeping canopies of cottonwoods and aspens tracing the Truckee River and Sierra foothills show the intricate textures of leaves and light filtering through fiery branches- when you get the light just right. Shooting combinations- airplane aerials, drone aerials and ground views brings a unique perspective- something I have been shooting for over 20 years.
