Tahoe Reno Industrial Center (TRIC) – Panoramic Aerial View
To capture this sweeping aerial view, I shot 14 overlapping images from an airplane trying to keep a level horizon—a critical challenge when shooting such a wide landscape. Each frame required full manual settings: precise exposure control, pre-focused to ensure sharpness, and a wide depth of field to keep everything from the distant mountains to the foreground in focus. One of the trickiest parts was capturing the lower portion of the frame where Interstate 80 intersects with USA Parkway; this area sits much lower in the shot, which made aligning and composing the full panorama more complex. After reviewing the shots during post-processing, I used 10 of the images to blend together for the final panoramic composition. The result shows the vastness of the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center with the Sierra Mountains in the distance, and Reno in the distance on the right side.
